Community Bible Church or CBC is a church group that started roughly in the year 1977. Two years before that four of the Winona families used to have Bible studies weekly. Prayers were made and fellowships hoping that maybe God will use their faith and community to create a church in the city. In the month of July, their community has grown and their group brought up an “unofficial” church which was known then as Berean Baptist Fellowship. In 1977 the group was finally made official and was officially named Berean Believers Church of Winnona,MN. Five years passed and the community has grown effectively. The group moved into the Lincoln Christian Community Center and stayed there for five years. Community Bible Church was then born in 1984. By 2002 the church opened their arms and welcomed Worship and Communty Groups Pastor, Craig Hensel. Craig Hensel integrated music into the community along with his worships team. To increase the development of their community, he coordinated with other groups. The Community Bible Church then added Waldean Wall in the year 2007, who is their Speaking Pastor today. He gives important, true to life and thought provoking messages. CBC has numerous branches, and one of them is in San Antonio, Texas. You could visit their websites if you want to see pictures of the community in action. Even if they are found in different locations they all have the same beliefs. They believe in God as the creator and the Ruler of the Universe. He is their Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the son of God, co-equal with the Father. The Bible is the Holy book containing the words of God. They believe in the People who are the image of God and made be like Him. The people are the highest creation of God. Salvation is the free Gift from God and we should accept it. All beliefs are the same for every community in their group. To share their beliefs with other people outside the group they have guest services which help as a peek to the community. They strive to give a positive view on their activities to spread the word of the Lord. Adult, children, teenager and the elderly are welcomed to join the different groups. To be able to reach all, the community uses the best quality sound systems, visual aids and designs to keep up with the times and encourage more people to see them. They welcome even the handicaps by using the sign language for those who have hearing impairment. These technologies are not for spreading the message of the Lord only, but they also use this for all the venues to establish better meetings and conferences.
